Car Park 3 - Airport Nuremberg

DOGLA-TRIO 1011 is a very rigid specification, which acts as a security barrier for people and at the same time offers a sufficient ventilation due to it's high open area.

It consits of vertical wire clusters with 3 precrimped wires, which create a vertical structure in the facade. The horizontal wires are precrimped in the areas where they connect with the vertical wires and therefore offer a better stability to the mesh than other known facade specifiations do.

From the outside the facade cladding offers a good visual cover; with the sun hitting the mesh and at certain viewing angles the facade appears almost opaque. On the other hand, looking inside out the mesh is transparent enough to allow for a good view through the garage into the surrounding area.

In collaboration with the architectural office and the parking consultant, Haver & Boecker developed and realized the complete exterior skin of the car park (stainless steel mesh elements and their constuction). 13. 8 m long panels with a standard width of 2.5 m and 2.7 m were installed.
